People: A Team of Deeply Principled Experts

We at Piattelli are driven by an irrevocable determination to craft our wines with Wisdom, Precision, and Love. Why? Because, as true Argentinians, what we produce emerges from something that's rooted deep inside of us.

Rooted in Tradition—Climbing Towards Perfection

The Argentine people are a beautiful people, a passionate people, a people of the vineyard who have learned to persevere and endure through seismic political, cultural and economic shifts over the centuries—but especially over the past 40 years. Everyone working in Piattelli's opperations in Mendoza and Salta were born into the revolution of excellence that has elevated Argentine wines to be some of the most celebrated wines in the world.

Wisdom

To have wisdom is to have insight and understanding. Those with true wisdom possess it because they've struggled and fought to earn it. This is especially true when it comes to the winemaking wisdom we've attained here at Piattelli Vineyards.

More

Our insight has shown us that we must craft wines that appeal to North American palates. Our understanding compels us to keep our process rooted in the traditional methods that have defined Argentine wines for centuries.1

Less

Precision

It's one thing to know what to do. It's an entirely different thing to have the commitment and dedication to actually do it. Those who follow through become the leaders in the community, the industry, and are recognized the world over.

More

From shoot to shelf, Piattelli wine results from tireless personal oversight by winemaker Valeria Antolin and general director Gabriel Fidel. With consultant Roberto de la Mota and an expert staff, they constantly pursue vinicultural perfection.

Less

Love

At Piattelli Vineyards, our motivation flows out of the love we have for family, country, nature, and winemaking. To us wine is more than a beverage to consume, but it is a gift from our hearts that symbolizes the sense of connection we share with the land and one another.

More

Like with any family, often times doing what is right involves sacrifice and hard work. Consistently doing what is right is made easier because we all share a higher purpose, which is to love one another and strive to experience that love through the truth and beauty that we find in winemaking. That and that alone is what helps us make it through any difficulties we might experience, because we know that we'll arrive at the end together with something magnificent and truly elegant to share with our customers.

Less

Although historically there have been many ups and downs in Argentina, like old grape vines, we Argentinians are resilient and seem to come back to life after every season of difficulty. We’re courageous, hard working and collectively committed to creating a better future for our children and grandchildren than the one we inherited from the previous generation. This gives us much reason to be hopeful that Piattelli Vineyards will continue to ride the wave of prosperity that has been steadily gaining momentum and strength year after year.
