Because personal oversight of each step in the winemaking process by winery director Gabriel Fidel, principal winemaker Valeria Antolin, and consultant Roberto de la Mota is essential to its resplendent estate-grown character, Piattelli produces only 150,000 cases per year. As a result, Piattelli doesn’t offer products in the sub-premium space, which deals in multi-hundred thousands or millions of cases.
