DESCRIPTION
From high in the Andes surrounding Salta come Piattelli’s Cafayate wines, grown at over 5,890 feet elevation. The distinctively colorful northwest Argentina mountains, formed by many geological layers, inspired our labels and our regionally distinct approach to winemaking. The splendor of this area, with its pure water and extreme thermal amplitudes that produce grapes bursting with flavor, make this not only one of the most beautiful but also one of the premier grape growing regions in the world.

DESCRIPTION
“La Calera” represents the essence of our vineyard, showcasing the profound role of limestone in the exceptional viticulture of the Animaná Valley. Located at high altitude in Salta, this unique site is defined by calcareous soils that bring remarkable structure and freshness to our wines. The richness of the limestone terroir gives this Malbec its identity—refined, powerful, and expressive of its origin. Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, this is a wine of place, elegance, and intensity.

TASTING NOTES
This Malbec offers complex aromas of dark fruits, flowers, leather, and smoked vanilla. On the palate, it is stately and full-bodied, with a firm structure and a smooth, fruit-forward finish. Best served at 16–18°C. Recommended aging: up to 8 years.

“La Calera” represents the essence of our vineyard, located in the heart of the Animaná Valley, Salta. This site is marked by the richness of calcareous soils and the influence of limestone, which provides exceptional structure and minerality to the wine. At 5,740 feet above sea level, the vineyard benefits from intense sunlight and cool nights, resulting in grapes of great concentration and character. This Cabernet Sauvignon is a true expression of high-altitude viticulture in one of Argentina’s most distinctive terroirs.

DESCRIPTION
Piattelli Torrontés comes from the Torrontés Riojano grape, a crisp and complex grape considered the best of the sub-varietals. Grown at 5,890 feet elevation, where extreme thermal amplitudes produce grapes bursting with flavor. Piattelli Torrontés is an elegant rendition of this varietal showcasing the freshness and floral qualities this wine is known for, moderated lightly with oak.Crushed gently in our gravity-flow winery and fermented at 55.4°F, the juice was kept free from harsh flavors throughout the winemaking process. Delicious paired with spicy foods.

TASTING NOTES
A refreshing, fragrant wine, the color of yellow topaz. This Torrontés bursts with tropical aromas of pineapple, peach and orange blossom. Aromatic notes resonate in the mouth with fresh apricot and lychee and a hint of orange zest. Acidity is well-balanced in the mouth with a citrusy medium finish.

TASTING NOTES
This wine has great impact all through the stages of tasting and its passage through the mouth is superb. The wine has hues of violet and contours of black that create a fierce scarlet color. On the nose, spicy and ripe red fruit aromas mix together with eucalyptus and fig notes. In the mouth, it greets with a pleasant entrance given by the ripe, firm and intense tannins, the result of a slow polyphenolic maturation. It has a high structure and acidity that are balanced in a persistent finish
